Named in the International Who’s Who in Music and Musicians, and 2000 Most Notable American Women, violist and pedagogue, Dr. Alice Lindsay brings a lifetime of knowledge to her teaching legacy with mentors and colleagues Samuel Applebaum, Paul Doktor, Ralph Matesky, Anshel Brusilow, and Erick Friedman among others.

Dr. Alice Lindsay welcomes viola and violin students in her private studio in Williamsburg, Virginia and online, on a rolling basis. Students of all ages and levels are considered.

Masterclasses & Programs

Serving as an artist-in-residence for university programs and summer festivals, Dr. Lindsay has designed a comprehensive methodology to equip new and developing violists with the tools necessary to serve them at each respective level of development.
